Organization

Association VONONA assists rural communities in their efforts to achieve durable development and helps to improve individual agricultural worker’s skills. The students at Association VONONA are often uneducated and live in such rural conditions that they do not have access to electricity. Similarly, the villages and people they serve live on an economy of subsistence where almost all of the food they produce is for the needs of their own family. The organization provides training services in crops and animal husbandry and stresses hands-on application of all new skills by further training sessions in the organization’s own fields. In addition, they facilitate ways for farmers to purchase needed farming equipment and provide veterinary care.
