Announcement of farewell service of the late Dr. Toshihiro Takami, Honorary President of Asian Rural Institute

The Rev. Dr. Toshihiro Takami, Honorary President of the Asian Rural Institute (Nasushiobara, Tochigi, Japan) passed away on Thursday, September 6th.  His life was dedicated to the Lord and for the service of nurturing global rural leaders. Asian Rural Institute will have a farewell service as following:   Date: December 13th, 2018 Thursday Time: 13:30 to 16:00 At Asian Rural Institute Koinonia dining hall. Announcement of the Passing of the Rev. Dr. Toshihiro Takami, Honorary President

Glory be to God in the Highest! It is with great sadness that we bring this announcement.  The Rev. Dr. Toshihiro Takami, Honorary President of the Asian Rural Institute (Nasushiobara, Tochigi, Japan) passed away at the Maronie Nursing Care Facility at 10:18pm on Thursday, September 6th.  He was 91 years old.  His was a life sacrificed for the Lord and for the Asian Rural Institute. The Rev. Dr. Toshihiro Takami was born in the Northeast Part of the Chinese People’s Republic, formerly known as Manchuria, and returned to Japan at the age of 10.  He attended College at Doane University, Seminary at Yale Divinity School and Fuller Seminary.
