Q1 What are ARI's activities practiced so far?
A1 For the past 30 years, ARI has done leadership training for grass root's leaders. Through community based training, we practice integrated organic agriculture, and other rural activities in ways that help us to learn how to best use local resources and abilities for the common good. ARI also conducts seminars for sustainable development and study tours to visit graduates in their respective countries.

Q2 How is ARI funded?
A2 We do not receive any direct financial assistance from the Japanese government because ARI was established as a non-governmental training organization. Tuitions and living costs for participants who come from Asia, Africa and the pacific are raised through contributions from many ARI supporters all over the world. Foundations also assist with various scholarship programs and subsidies.
